Synchronising iPad and Outlook 2016 through Plusnet

Hi.

I'm looking to synchronise my iPad and Outlook 2016 (on PC) with my Plusnet emails.  It's currently configured so if I delete an email on iPad, it deletes on Plusnet server - great!  However, if I delete on Outlook 2016, it doesn't delete on server. Can you link the iPad, the Plusnet server and Outlook so that when you delete on either iPad or Outlook it synchronises across all 3?  Any help greatly appreciated.

It should work.

How are you collecting the E-mails  in Outlook? Is it IMAP or POP3? To have deletions ( and moves) synchronised you will need to be using IMAP.

What happens when you delete an E-mail in Outlook? Is it deleted from the Outlook PC, or  simply marked for deletion? 

If you delete an e-mail on Outlook, does it disappear from Webmail or not?

If you drag a mail from the inbox to another folder on outlook, does it move on the iPad? and Vice versa?
