Hi all,
Can someone please direct me to setting the spell check to British spelling rather than current American spelling?

I don't believe that the spell checker is in web mail - it is the one in your browser - which one do you use

If it works similar to Opera, type anything spelt badly and hit return, then right click on it and if the same a popup menu will appear with the option to choose the dictionary in use and or add new ones

Plusnet Webmail has a spellchecker:
See Personal Settings> Composing messages> Spellcheck options> Check spelling before sending a message.
As far as I can see it is a very basic spellchecker - for instance spell 'honour' incorrectly and it will give you the UK English and the US English options but I don't think you can choose a particular English language dictionary

Thanks Oldjim, I use FF 15.0.1. I will have a play around with the FF's settings.

Thanks. I tried through preferences as you suggested. You're right. It does not give me choice of GB Dictionary.

Using the Firefox checker is the best as it will check the spelling as you type.
