Spark email client on Mac

HI guys,

Has anyone out their succeeded in setting up their Plusnet email account with Spark? I've tried all the recommended settings for both imap and pop but the set-up fails with the response 'A stable connection to the server could not be established'.

Are you sure that Spark supports use of a non-secure connection? I though it was SSL/TLS only which would mean it can't be used with Plusnet email.

Correct, from their FAQ...

5.3. Why SSL is required

Spark doesn't support insecure connections. We care greatly about secure environment and take steps necessary to ensure our customers' correspondence safety...<snip>
