I am getting daily emails from a US source that neither PN nor my iOS email app recognise as spam.
There is no way to block the emails in the iPad app and now access to webmail is gone I can't check that.
Is there any way PN can help if given the sending email address?
(Apologies if covered before but I scrolled down a bit and found nothing.)

Until something is repeatedly reported as spammy then it’s not going to get flagged as spammy if it passes the standard profiling. Conversely something which is not spam but does not pass the profiling or has been reported as spam might give rise to a false positive and over zealous filtering.
You can black list sender’s email addresses / domains but that can be akin to a sledge hammer.
What do you mean by “access to webmail is gone”? Webmail does allow the marking of emails as being spam.

Thanks for your response, TM.
I agree, the handling of spammy emails seems to be poor. It's a daily occurrence with this offender so a blanket ban on the address or just the domain name would be fine, unfortunately I see no way of doing that.
I tried webmail a few days ago but all I got was a list of PN emails to me ending in 2018. I will have another look.

Well, after a protracted search etc I have updated the blocked email address in the spam protection page.
I guess that I could add the address for the perfectly non spammy sender previously mentioned to the approved sender box and see what happens.
Now to write up the convoluted procedure for future reference.
ITM, thanks to Townman for prompting me to delve deeper. 😀

I should have expected it, the update failed.
Trying again.

Hmm, the error came up 2 more times.
However, I refreshed the page (no success or failure banner) and the blocked address is definitely in the box.
I will try adding the other address to the approved box later.

Same emails have started again.
Is there no way to block them?

Check that the email address you previously marked as spam is the same as the one you're now receiving.......
