It's an occasional problem, but very much more noticeable in the last few days. I use Eudora as an email client, and when it checks for new mail, and even more often when it is sending email, it takes some while (perhaps only a few seconds) to get a connection, by which time Eudora has given up. There doesn't seem to be any way to persuade Eudora to wait a little longer, and anyway, the problem seems (unless someone tells me otherwise) to be that Plusnet is rather slow in initiating connections for checking and sending messages.

Can't help but wonder whether or not this is to do with some of the recent problems we've had? Would be interested in how things pan out David..?

Thanks, Bob. It's always a bit of a problem, but you are right, it was worse a few days ago and now it is a bit better.
