Since about 18:00 tonight ( 9th April 2013 ).... I am getting this message instead of emails (now 22;00)

Using Thunderbird....... (lates version.... updated automatically ).
Have downloaded and installed the Plusnet assist and it stated that I did not have an email account.... ( been a plusnet account holder for years... no problems until tonight).
so went through the setup ..... eventually completed.... then went to my Email icon... and ...

Plusnet status on emails shows no problems for ages and ages....
what has happened?
( oh yes,.. I do have an email account, and I "could " get webmail if I wanted, but don`t want to, and don`t like the webmail too cumbersome... prefer my emails to arrive alive ! ).
