Sent emails take a long time to show in Sent folder

As above.... it can take days for sent messages to appear in the Sent folder, or sometimes not appear at all. Using WIN 10 and Plusnet imap. This all seems like a "black art" to me. Any causes/remedies?

Could you provide more details, such as from which organisations/senders you most commonly experience this issue (please don't post personal email addresses as this is a public forum)

Hi @fred77, I'm sorry to hear this is happening. So we can help diagnose the issue, please can you confirm if this is this happening through a mail client or is it happening through webmail?
