Repeat rejections during 'mail maintenance'

A couple of days ago I found emails being rejected by +net when sent to me.  That was fixed, but has now happened again.  When is this going to be sorted?
sample header from gmail
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
from Mail Delivery System Mailer-Daemon@jupiter.servers.rbl-mer.misp.co.uk
to <removed>@<removed>
date 18 June 2011 14:12
subject Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender
mailed-by jupiter.servers.rbl-mer.misp.co.uk

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
<removed>@<removed>.plus.com
  (ultimately generated from <removed>@<removed>.co.uk)
SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection:
  host mx-ironport.core.plus.net [84.92.1.97]: 554-mx.ptn-ipin01.plus.net
554 Your access to this mail system has been rejected due to the sending MTA's poor reputation. If you believe that this failure is in error, please contact the intended recipient via alternate means.

Re: Repeat rejections during 'mail maintenance'

This is not actually a problem for Plusnet. Their Ironport spam protection servers are doing what they are designed to do. Here is the relevant entry in the SenderBase DNS lookup:-
Quote
188.65.115.24  jupiter.servers.rbl-mer.misp.co.uk  Y  2.8 3.1  0  [red]Poor[/red]

You will need to contact the mail senders to let them know something is giving this address a poor SenderBase reputation.

Or disable spam filtering on your Plusnet account?
