Redirecting Emails

Hi, hope someone can help (I'm sure they can!)
I work away from home a lot, but wifey and i share an email address (as you do). Sometimes this causes a problem when she logs on to check emails, then i can't see them as well -  if i set up a redirect, then they won't go to our "home" email address, and then she wont get to see them. so one of us is always going to be missing bits of info. is there a way of setting up the account so it stays on the plusnet account, but emails can also be forwarded onto another account i.e. so we can both see what has come in?
cheers

Re: Redirecting Emails

You could take the easy way out and set up your email clients to leave a copy on the server.

Re: Redirecting Emails

The best solution would be to use IMAP instead of POP3. That way all emails remain on the server and can be viewed by any email client also using IMAP (including webmail). Not only that but the sent emails are uploaded to the server and again can be viewed by any PC.

Re: Redirecting Emails

thanks guys, both sound ideal, any clue as to how to do this? I am not technically gifted unfortunately.. if there is a step by step guide anywhere, or something, that would be ideal.

Also just to add there is a link with a brief description of how to do it, also linking you to the original set up:

Re: Redirecting Emails

If you are wanting any mail to be received stored on the server so you can access it again IMAP would be your best bet.
