Re: Standard Webmail (Round Cube) slow performance mitigation

Really sorry to  post this here, but I can't see how to or remember how to start a post.

I have had no incoming mails on my "Freenetneame" email since Thursday, this is both on Webmail and on my mail app on the iPhone. Any one else?

@Noiseboy Have you checked you have not exceeded the storage limit on your webmail? How many mailboxes do you have? Have you checked the default one for warning messages?

Hi @Noiseboy,

I'm sorry to hear about this. Have you tried to send a test email to the mailbox to see if this has any success? If it doesn't, do you get any kind of bounce back message?

Re: Standard Webmail (Round Cube) slow performance mitigation

I have tried to send a message to it, but it has not arrived.

I think it unlikely that I've exceeded my mailbox limit, and certainly haven't received any message, that I have seen.

I have just deleted more from my inbox and trash, to permanently delete them, but still no mail.

I have no more mailboxes than I have always had, and no strange activity that I am aware of.

Re: Standard Webmail (Round Cube) slow performance mitigation

Update, I just received test email that I just sent myself from my Freenetname account, also just received an email from my friend who just sent it, however, a test email that I sent a couple of hours ago has yet to appear

Re: Standard Webmail (Round Cube) slow performance mitigation

Hopefully clearing out what you have done has created sufficient room. IIRC, the Freenetname allowance is only 250MB, and it is easy to reach that limit if you don't clear the inbox/outbox/deleted items fairly regularly.

Re: Standard Webmail (Round Cube) slow performance mitigation

Thanks John,

I do regularly clean out my emails, so a it odd, and definitely no warning of reaching the limit.

If, however, this was the reason ,a good reminder to any other FNN user.
