Problems with Webmail

As a result of my Outlook configuration my Webmail Inbox is consistently around the 600 messages mark.

Webmail performance has in the past been very poor.

However currently it is performing well for me.

Thanks - I've just selected ten emails (mainly Facebook notifications) to delete and it took 41 seconds for the "Moving message(s)..." indication to go.

It's a lot quicker at 11.30pm. Just bracketed 48 emails in a folder and they deleted in four seconds.

41 seconds, kind of like the time it takes a new temp. secretary to file something away on the other side of the building. Is that what's going on?

Delighted to report that service is really very good  this morning and staying so right now (1400) just keep it this way!!

What are you seeing?  Do you think what you are seeing could be being confused with your up and down speed issues? Or is it clearly webmail?

My webmail inbox with just under 566 emails opens within 5 seconds.

My daughter's inbox with 1225 emails opens within 20 seconds.

No error messages and quite workable.

There does seem to have been an improvement. However I've just opened up webmail having returned from work, selected 11 emails for deletion (mainly FB notifications) and hit delete - then waited 45 seconds for the process to conclude.

I've just closed the browser window, reopened it, counted up to 168 waiting for the Inbox to list - and then got a "Timed out" message...

Deleting emails, even just a few, is slow (though faster than it's been of late) but other than that it's performing pretty well. Fingers crossed.
