Logged into Plusnet Webmail today to see how things are getting on (having now switched all my regular emails to Gmail)
No change - took 32 seconds for the Inbox to appear. ~Didn't bother trying any further.

Did anyone feel it was slower than now earlier in the week?

@spraxyt The last few days it has been really bad, gave up trying to access it for much of the day/early evening although it tended to be slightly better early morning or later in the evening.

Thanks for those comments. Presumably performing better (or less badly) over the holiday period?

I've given up on Plusnet webmail - which is a shame.
I use Thunderbird with IMAP to archive all emails onto my PC.
It works because my mailboxes never get very big.
Obviously I'm losing out on any enterprise level backups.

What aggravates me about all of this, other than we're still talking about it 2yrs on, is that you never know where you stand. Literally, one minute it will work fine, the next, error messages appear.
I try to keep my mailbox small and download on to my PC but the whole idea of using webmail is to gain access to incoming mails when away from home.
Even keeping a tidy mailbox isn't made simple. I cannot count the number of times I delete a load of unwanted mails only to find them reappearing again!
Are we ever going to get this resolved and know what the cause of the issue is? That is the biggest mystery!

Despite what plusnet say , i would hazard a Guess that the problem is Lack of investment !
Basically PN has too many customers now and web mail servers cant cope

@Kelly Its much better today thanks. Not taking forever to load what isn't a particularly large inbox and none of the timeout/failed to connect errors.
Edit - spoke to soon. Just deleted a couple of emails and waiting for the mailbox to refresh got "connection error (failed to reach the server)".
