Original Post is now 12 months OLD !!! and still no where near a fix
samsung 850evo 250gig , WD black 2 TB . Asus Phoebus sound ,
16 gig Avexir ram 2400 , water cooling Corsair H100i gtx ,
Corsair 750HXI Psu , Phanteks Enthoo pro case .

Do Plusnet even care about 'quality of service' these days? We all know how long this problem has been affecting customers and for a brief while it did look like something had finally been done to improve service however over these past few weeks the age old problem of slow emails has returned with a vengeance. Today has been especially bad taking 9 minutes to sync webmail with my mail client (Windows 10 Mail). That's just not good enough and we as your loyal customers deserve better!

Nope
i believe plusnet are shying away from the fix , as it must cost money they are hoping the customers will use other Emails and move away from PN webmail

Webmail has been working perfectly for me now for some time.
Clearly it isn't for others.
Cannot PlusNet say why some people are experiencing a lack of performance?

Last night was the fastest I have experienced Webmail for a looong time but this afternoon was back to around 35 seconds to populate my Inbox.

I've been trying all day and can't even connect to Webmail. It either just times out or I get the usual "Service Unavailable". It's as bad now as when it was at it's slowest and worst last year

In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

@Townman whilst i agree it may be complex and Multi faceted ,,,,, 12 months to Fix is well over any expected time scale
i doubt that if the sales home page was broken , it would be fixed in less than 12 hours !
i know its not the same , but you get what i mean

I couldn't agree more.., Plusnet seem to have their priorities all wrong! Rather than concentrating on gaining new customers and likely adding to the problem why not concentrate on those that they do have, a year of bad service is not a good way to keep customers happy.
It seems like we hear the same old recycled excuses over and over on this subject, I mean how complex can this problem really be? Surely by now Plusnet should have realised that their engineers are too incompetent to solve the issue?
Simple solution..., find a competent person

Whereas i am no expert , but surely EMAIL failures are due to either hardware or software ?
If the server Hardware is not up to the Job , obviously it needs updating , i presume fairly expensive But it will work .
If its a software problem , the amount of tweaking done obviously will not fix it even after 12 month of trying .
So the obvious answer is the Plusnets Email server system Needs a Massive UPgrade not a bit of tweaking

Hi, I posted about a couple of pages back. It's down to the nature of the problem we see on the platform. There are quite a lot of moving parts, so when we start seeing slow performance, it's not across the whole platform. This means you have some users seeing bad performance, and all the rest not seeing an issue at all.
I'm really sorry for this still being an issue. We're still working in the background on this, both to fix the patches of poor performance when they happen and prevent them from occurring in the first place.
@AmigaMan: Sorry about yesterday. I'm hoping performance is a lot better today for you?
