@rongtw

There's probably a time difference where you live, are you on this side of the equator? Seems to be working here in MK but nothing out of the ordinary. The service still craps out if you navigate through more than two folders.

Re: Problems with Webmail

Well maybe you should count yourself lucky, due to your location you're probably being worked on first. Either that or it's just too wet in Yorkshire and your cables have gone rusty. Grin

@rongtw, the software update has been rescheduled to next Tuesday.

Morning all. FYI, the software upgrade was completed this morning. It brings with it a few new features, like a checkbox selector, toast notifications, mailto link association and some other bits and pieces. You'll also notice some subtle aesthetic differences as the styling's been tidied up a bit.

Shout up if you spot anything untoward (beyond the current performance issues that is!)

What's a toast notification?

Isn't this a case of "fiddling whilst Rome burns"? Sad

Re: Problems with Webmail

Whilst I can, slowly, get into webmail, today I cannot get my Pnet email on my desk top mail and I could last night. What have you done now?

Re: Problems with Webmail

A tick box and a light shade of blue are the changes I can see.

The slow / non response time to open an email is just as bad.

Would it not have been time better spent getting the damn webmail to work and then tinker with the colour palette?

Unbelievable.

Ah!  But they can now demonstrate that progress is being made.  Shocked

Just to be clear we did advise that this software update was not going to fix all the problems that our users are experiencing with webmail.

Work continues behind the scenes and by different teams to get the service back to where it needs to be.

Re: Problems with Webmail

I see the automatic drop down "feature".

Unfortunately, it includes a couple of "test" mailboxes that were deleted several weeks ago. Cry

Re: Problems with Webmail

As I said, I can get into my mail on the web, but my desk top mail client will not get anything now. I repeat what have Pnet done this time that creates this mess for me.

Just keeps saying "your pop3  server has not responded in 60 seconds". When I ask it to keep trying it keeps bringing the same message back every 60 seconds.

Re: Problems with Webmail

My webmail is syncing relatively quickly using Windows 10 Mail app, the only thing amiss which I've noticed recently is that not all my messages are downloaded. For instance just now my mail app received around 15 messages in total yet my inbox on Webmail says I have 41 messages! Crazy or what? Crazy2
