Problems sending mail to Hotmail accounts

Over the last couple of days all mails sent by us to Hotmail addresses have been spat back:

SMTP error from remote server for MAIL FROM command, host: hotmail-com.olc.protection.outlook.com (xxx.xx.xx.xxx) reason: 550 5.7.1 Unfortunately, messages from [xx.xxx.x.xxx] weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list (S3140).

If this error message is correct, could someone at Plusnet please get us unblocked?

550 5.7.1 Unfortunately, messages from [xx.xxx.x.xxx] weren't sent

Is xx.xxx.x.xxx and IP address?

If yes, what are the first 3 octets please? Without there, there is little chance of identifying the issue.

550 5.7.1 is an error code which can arise for a host of reasons and the reason stated might not be entirely helpful.

In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
