To resolve some accounting issues (plusnet maf errors)I have been told my Mad as a fish domain is being transfered to plusnet. I was warned that I might have to change some settings, but probably not.
Without warning my domain email has stopped sending or receiving mail.
My family is frantic and and are blaming me.
The waiting time on the plusnet customer support is 20 hours or so.
On the my account section of plusnet (who supply my broadband and phone (though not up to now my domain)) my domain is not listed. So where is my domain? Is it in Limbo? are there any settings I can change to get my mail?
Can anyone help?

Well I've got through to support by phone and the transfer is 'in the queue'
It would have been good to have switched off the MAF at the same time as switching on the plusnet.
Note to Plusnet. We could all have saved time and energy if an email could have been sent saying when the domain would be unavailable, and for how long.
Apart from 'sometime today' I don't know how long we will be without mail.
Hope we don't get any important emails!

Looks like I'm writing this for myself.
When I go on my accout and look at the domains my new domain is listed.
I still however don't get t my domain email. I do get it if I go to the webmail and look at the plusnet mail box I have set up under ???@login_name.plus.com
Wonder if it has all 'come across or if I should be changing outlook settings some more.
Help

Have you set the incoming server to mail.plus.net and the address as username+mailboxname

Thanks Jim
You have given me the solution.
I ended up phoning the help team to get it before you replied.
Unless I am more 'challenged' than I thought there was no reference to doing this in the help pages I looked at (under outlook 2003 set up) or in the many other places I looked either. and it isn't really intuitive to do this.
I never did get an email to say my domain had been transferred.
Everything is working fine now (except the relationship the 'options' team have plusnet accounts team).
jim:green a load of blank lines removed - it usually happens when posting from a mobile mod:end
