Problem for recipients when forwarding emails with a list of pictures

I have been forwarding emails with a list of amusing pictures without any trouble until the other day.  I simply delete the previous senders info and forward as usual, using BCC, but everyone just gets a list of the same pic instead of the collection I received.  Any advice?

Re: Problem for recipients when forwarding emails with a list of pictures

I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean about sending in text - I'm just forwarding emails as I always do from Plusnet Webmail.  When I sent the first email with several pics, my niece told me they were all the same pic.  Next time I sent email to myself and also looked at sent copy, but all pics were identical.  Now  I have just received this from my sister:
Now this IS weird!  I opened these first on my Tablet - all different.  I'm now opening on the computer upstairs - all the same one!!!!!!
I'd love to know what is going on.

It is checked as 'Always'.  I've never changed it.

Re: Problem for recipients when forwarding emails with a list of pictures

My issue with sending pictures in a list still remains Sad  The only list that recipients have are 10 copies of the same picture - usually the first picture in the list that I'm trying to send........... it's very frustrating!  Any more ideas out there? PlusNet? regards

If you've an example of one of these forwards in your sent items folder, and you don't mind me taking a look, then I can see if I can work out what's going on?

Re: Problem for recipients when forwarding emails with a list of pictures

Hi Bob,

I've dragged into my Drafts folder, the offending email that I sent to myself to check it out, an email from my sister regarding said offending email and the original email I received from a friend.  Will that help you?

regards

Re: Problem for recipients when forwarding emails with a list of pictures

Thanks, I've taken a look and it's due to the inline images all having the same filename (image.jpg). It's a bug with the version of the software we're using.

Hi, so is it something you can fix, or do I have to save each pic and give them each a different name, then attach to a new email?

Re: Problem for recipients when forwarding emails with a list of pictures

It could be fixed with a software upgrade, but that's not a small task. A workaround would be to forward the email using a standalone email client or alternatively, you could use the Basic Webmail interface.
