Plusnet on block list

Hi trying to send a email from  Aol email account to a old established hotmail account and I get -
"Unfortunately, messages from 64.12.237.  weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network
is on our block list."
Is this normal plusnet behavior? its fine using the same accounts at work.
Thanks

Re: Plusnet on block list

It could be that your IP address that you're using at the moment has been listed?
If you go to http://whatismyip.com does the IP address match up with the one in the rejection?

Re: Plusnet on block list

A quick check shows that you aren't sending via the Plusnet servers but the AOL servers so you had better have a go at them

Re: Plusnet on block list

HMMM interesting the returned mail messages always referred to my "internet provider" (plusnet) so them i always blamed. I cannot see AOL been very motivated in fixing my free email account So i guess i will have to set another up elsewhere.

Re: Plusnet on block list

You don't need to use the AOL server for sending - change it to relay.plus.net
