Plusnet mail on an iPad

I have been "volunteered" to assist a lady in her 80s to setup her Plusnet email using the Mail app on her recent iPad.

Up to now she has been using Plusnet Webmail and Safari but has been told that Apple's Mail app makes things easier.

Her Plusnet email is of the form:    mail@joebloggs.plus.com

Unfortunately I've not yet unearthed a 'chapter and verse' solution reading through posts ~ there seem to be so many stumbling blocks.

Can some kind soul help me out?

You'll need to use the manual setup as Apple mail wont detect the correct settings automatically https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201320

The required PlusNet server settings are here https://www.plus.net/help/email-guides/how-to-set-up-plusnet-email/

I suggest you use the IMAP ones as that retains the messages on the server ( like webmail does )

Use the same username and password that the lady uses to login to webmail
