Plus net mail on mobile

Have got the app My Mail on my Android Smart phone, and want to add my Plusnet address to it, I go to 'Other Mail' put in my email address and the correct password , press sign in, and it just keeps going round saying 'Something wrong' trying to connect' then it ends 'Unable to process request, Check data and try again'

Is it not possible to add a Plusnet address???

My guess is that the default settings have starttls/SSL on which Plusnet don't support. Security needs to be off.

Thanks for reply, but how do you change security settings and is it wise to?

so if this is done is it then possible to get your e-mails from this app, as I find going through the Plusnet website on the phone a long job,
