I wish that were so, but I still cant see any apart from the 4 that have been there since Monday.

I think I'll have to just carry on with what's working on it and use a different email server as I'm not prepared to reset my live mail account and tp lose all my emails.

There are probably still back up copies on the Plusnet system. I seem to remember that @Gandalf has been able to get them recovered from similar situations in the past.
