PN webmail as default

Is it possible to set Plusnet webmail as my default e mail program? I am trying desperately to get away from the dreaded Windows Live Mail, but it has installed itself as default on my W7 64 bit set up and I need to get rid of it.

Webmail isn't a local email client
Have you tried Thunderbird http://www.mozilla.org/en-GB/thunderbird/

I have not tried this myself but the final post on this page http://www.sevenforums.com/network-sharing/5339-webmail-default-mail-client.html gives outline instructions on how you would do it.  I'm not sure how well this would work either but it would at least stop Windows Live Mail being invoked.
