Hi,
I have recently transferred my domain out from plusnet, however I wish to continue using plusnet's email service. I can set MX records on my new host, but am unsure of what values to enter. My emails arrived at my @username.plus.com addresses via @mydomain.co.uk, and I'd like to keep that functionality if possible.
I've tried:
0 mail.plus.net
10 mx.avasin.plus.net
Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

If Plusnet are not hosting the domain it won't know what to do with @mydomain.co.uk so it's no use pointing the MX records at the Plusnet servers.

That's what I had feared, I wasn't sure how plusnet operated with the emails actually arriving at @username.plus.com.
Thanks for the reply.

Where the domain is now hosted could you forward the emails to @username.plus.com?
How it effectively works is that the domain on the email is mapped to your account (@username.plus.com is mapped to username, for @domain.co.uk it has to look up the hosted accounts to find out which user it belongs to), then it looks at the part before the @ to map it to the correct mailbox, alias or redirect that you've set up.

BTW: Why did you move the hosting away? You did know I hope you can have the domain registered somewhere else (to save money) but still have PN host the domain.
