For the last week or so my Microsoft Outlook as been misbehaving, No problems sending (although I don't do that often), but ages to receive.
E-mail has always been pretty quick to appear, may be 1 per second, now it's about 1 per minute which is taking ages. I know this isn't a major problem, but it is annoying
Everything else is working fine, so any help ( in simple terms) would be appreciated
P.S. Does sometime run fine, so not a continuous problem

Three questions
Outlook or Outlook Express and if Outlook which version
Have you checked line speed when you have the problem
Are you connecting to the router by wireless

Top left hand corner of the screen says Outlook (the PC is about 4 years old)
How do I find out which version I have?
Line speed is fine (or at least the internet's working at it's usual lightning speed). Upgraded to PlusNet Extra Fibre just before Christmas & it's wireless.
Not sure if this is any help?
I have AVG (the paid version) and run a weekly scan & nothing's turned up
