At work 'they' have recently transferred our email server to Google Plus. When I'm at home I use Outlook to access work emails. The problem is that I've got several thousand emails and they are basically clogging up the system. So I'm always getting messages saying 'synchronising folders' and the forecast time is anything up to 60 minutes.
I have been slowly deleting emails from Google Plus using webmail but I cannot just delete them wholesale as some of them need to be kept. Is there a simple solution to this problem? For example is it possible simply to 'extract' an archive folder from the Google Plus server and stick it in a separate folder? Or is this something that I'll have to ask the IT people at work to do. I don't know much about how Google Plus actually works.
