I'm seeing strange e-mail behaviour today. I have twice sent e-mail to a friend today, once through my client and once using webmail. Neither is shown as sent by my IMAP client (Claws Mail 3.17.3) though both are visible in webmail. They are addressed to a gmail.com account. The first arrived containing simply "This message has no content." (or maybe that came from her mail client or gmail). The second arrived intact.
Why would the body fail to arrive at the destination and IMAP fail to send the message in my sent box to my client's sent folder? I have sent two messages to myself, one by each method, and they are shown in both places as expected.
Update: I tidied up my sent folder, moving messages to local folders, and now both messages have turned up in the client, so perhaps it was a local storage problem. Anyway, all seems well now.
