Occasional 'permanent' error, email rejection...

I have a number of raspberry pi setups that mail me info on status or change of status. All work but just occasionally I get the following message in my In basket from the plusnet server that my plusnet-to-plusnet mail could not be delivered.   Cry
A message that you sent to the following recipient could not be delivered due to a permanent error. ** The remote server 212.159.9.200 responded with: ** ********@********.plus.com 550:#5.1.8 Domain of sender address <********@********.plus.com> does not exist This message was created automatically by mail delivery software on the server avasout08
Asterisks above added to ***@*** to avoid spam!
Can anyone here help shed some light on the matter please?

Cheers!

In my experience this is a problem that happens from time to time. It must be a bug, but due to very low frequency not one that's easy to find.

Re: Occasional 'permanent' error, email rejection...

How frequently does this happen and is it always the same server (avasout08)?
