New to Plusnet and HATING the service! Wish i had never changed. Unable to get emails. keep getting the message below. Can anyone help. Customer Service does not respond.
Unable to send or receive messages for the xxxxxx.plus (ccccc) account. A time-out occurred while communicating with the server.
Server: 'mail.plus.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC19
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No

Please could you explain what xxxxxx.plus (ccccc) represents in that message? The string looks incomplete to me. I assume xxxxxx represents your account username, and disguising that is fine. However I'd expect the remaining part to be plus.com (making the complete string xxxxxx.plus.com).
If you log into Plusnet webmail with your account name as Username and account password as Password does that connect to and display the content of your default email account Inbox?
