Multiple Inbox Folders

Not sure if this is a migration issue but I've noticed in my Outlook for Mac app multiple empty inbox folders, some with a small sub folder struture and other random folders were there are duplicates. I've deleted some of these thinking they were due to an issue with Outlook but they came back. Checking on webmail they are there hence they are just being replicated.

Anybody else with this issue? Is it due to the migration (if it is I have no idea of the status of this activity).

Re: Multiple Inbox Folders

Replying to myself. In Outlook I've gone into the IMAP folder viewer and have unsubscribed to all the duplicate folders. Had to do it manually and there were >300 of them.

In an unrelated matter, a large number of my emails are now being directed to my junk folder, nearly all of which have previously been delivered to my inbox with no issue. I've been moving them on mass back to the inbox. I can't help but think the folder and junk issues are a symptom of issues with the email migration.

Re: Multiple Inbox Folders

Another reply to myself. Turned out I had a corrupted outlook profile on my mac. I had to delete it and re-configure outlook with my mail account and my archived pst files.

All the duplicate files still appear on the list of IMAP folders although they are all set to unsubscribe. No idea how to delete them...

I still have a junk mail issue which as others have said is likely to be a PN end issue. I just keep moving them to my inbox in the hope the server will learn. I can't see any rules or settings to direct these to junk. Just glad I noticed it.

Re: Multiple Inbox Folders

You could try delete the duplicate folders through webmail, but via the mail client should also work.

For the spam I just turned it off completely in the greenby portal - from reading everyone elses problems with the filtering, it was one of the first things I did after the migration completed for me.
