Move to Greenby . Any news. What is the latest situation.

Had my email from plusnet 2 or 3 months about email moving to Greenby. Without having to read all the posts here , is there anything definitife that i might of missed. I don't want to lose my free online email account or plusnet email account . But havn't had message about it since initial email contact and am bit worried.

Surely there must be thousands of other wondering about this,

@andytab

If the email you received telling you PN email was moving to Greenby and you've received nothing since then your account(s) hasn't moved yet. They are doing it in batches to sort out any problems with each batch as they go.

When it's your turn you will (like me) receive an email with the details.

The answer is stated here - https://community.plus.net/t5/Email/Plusnet-email-moving-to-Greenby/m-p/2012354#M50408 - from a member of staff.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: Move to Greenby . Any news. What is the latest situation.

Thanks, i think you have pointed me to Dave of plusnet help team post on page 9 of a thread.                                  Surely lots like me shouldn't have to find information in this way after being told the email service is changing.

thanks I hadn't. But how would i know it existed. And it's a long read about all sorts of things. Surely we should be getting updated in our emails or messaging about things,

Try searching the forum using “Greenby”.

Surely we should be getting information in an email or text message from plusnet , and not have to search greenby and read 9 pages.

Thanks , BMC says they are doing it in batches, so I just have to wait for next email from Plusnet. Was just getting concerned as hadn't heard anything since first email.

Re: Move to Greenby . Any news. What is the latest situation.

It’s being done in batches.  What do you want? An “it’s still not your turn yet, keep waiting email every week?”.

When it’s your turn, you’ll get an email.  The biggest cohort will be done last.

Re: Move to Greenby . Any news. What is the latest situation.

Thanks townman. But you seem to be a bit annoyed with me , unless I am reading your words in a wrong way.
My email from Plusnet about it all was sent to me in April. So in answer to you're question to me , no , I wouldn't want or expect a weekly update. But surely one update since the first one in email would help. Maybe say every 2 months..

@andytab I don't know what your email said, but the only one I have received, dated 13/05/25 tells me that my account will start to be transferred on 14/07/25. what more information than that do I, or you, need?
