Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to use sub accounts on Android phones? I'm trying to setup my partner on her phone using the MainAcountName+User format but with no success.
The phone is a Orange San Francisco, which runs Android 2.1. I've found Orange particularly unhelpful, both at the call centre and in their shop. The Orange web-site has some good instructions but not for their own branded phone or plusnet [http://setuporange.wdsglobal.com/email?step=info.vm&contractId=230&countryId=36&networkId=85&captchaEnabled=true&next=next]
The main account that I enter the Member's Centre set-up without a hitch, no need to enter POP or IMAP setting I've tried:
* various authentications options, including changing the outgoing server to have the main logon authentication
* changing the outgoing server to smtp.orange.com and smtp.orangehome.co.uk (as well as relay.plus.net)
* following the Orange instructions for the HTC Wildfire
Thanks for your time,
MarbleArts.

I don't know what you're doing wrong, but the answer to your question is yes, it is possible.
