Thank you for your query.
I can see from your account that these are currently pending, i have refreshed the component and these are now active.
Hope this helps.

and they are now working.
Does this solution help in identifying the underlying problem

Bob,
Please have a look at the email sitting in my default mailbox (which is a different mailbox to my catchall). The email address it was sent to is supposed to redirect to gmail.
I'd love to know how that happened.
I'll leave my redirection test alone for you to investigate. Test 1 seemed to create OK.

Thanks, I've collated some useful info from your account. It seems that under the condition we've identified, where redirects are created with null destinations in the maildb, they bizarrely route to the default mailbox on the account! Huh

If you have a mailbox that's marked as pending then I'm assured it should work, however even if it does post here anyway as I'd like to see if I can remove the pending flag from this side as per Bud's other post here.

Hi Bob. Two for your attention at username spinningweb.

Thanks, have performed some jiggery-pokery that I reckon should have removed the pending flag?

I don't use any black-holing, my redirects to gmail end up in postmaster.

Looking at your account the symptoms are the same as the ones jelv has been reporting. More concerning though (which is also the case with one of jelv's redirects), some of these broken entries *don't*  show as 'pending' in the MMM interface! Huh

Well we've tried it on other accounts and it hasn't worked. Happy to try the same on @jelv's and @A Fox is Evil's account if they like but it doesn't really help us get to the bottom of the problem Sad

Re: Mail redirection

Bob, it doesn't work for me.  Smiley
at approx 12:30 I created a redirect (tv51 on the first attachment).
At 2pm (90 minutes later) I checked the status of this redirect (see 2nd & 3rd attachments).
tv51 is the same as tv50 etc and you can delete it / recreate it for a few weeks as it is not in use.

Re: Mail redirection

Bob,
I'm happy for you to create/delete redirects or whatever on my account.
A thought - is it anything to do with the number of mailboxes, aliases, redirects on my account? (I know I have rather a lot!)

It has, but my incoming email is being bounced with '5.1.0 - Unknown address error 550-'#5.1.0 Address rejected'. Is that connected?

Re: Mail redirection

Same problem here. Created two redirects today, both were stuck as pending for 8 hours.  Then when they became active, they didn't work.  Have waited over 8 hours for a response to my ticket, not bad for a company with a target of 4 hours and a claimed actual response time today of 3.5 hours.  I wouldn't mind, but one of the redirects was to the blackhole because i was suddenly getting spammed at an alarming rate.

Out of ten redirects I've just created on my own account, all but one have failed with similar symptoms so I doubt the amount of mailboxes etc. has much bearing on things.

I'm assuming it's not the .plus.com addresses as they seem to be working fine?

Re: Mail redirection

Bob,
On a redirect we don't have the option of adding the domain name so are you suggesting that having a domain on the account mucks things up

Re: Mail redirection

No, @digital was reporting their inbound mail was bouncing. I've tested the .plus.com addresses and found that not to be the case so I was asking if it was mail to one of their domains that was bouncing instead?

Re: Mail redirection

Finally got a response at 9:24am this morning saying:
"The redirects are showing as active and your mailbox has now been refreshed. Please advise if the issue is still ongoing."
Well, they still don't work so I have reported this back on my ticket.
Still, it only took 17hrs 9 mins for them to respond a mere 429% off target.

That's right, it's the .net address, except it's working again and the ticket's been updated to say no fault could be found. Weird.

Re: Mail redirection

My account seems to have stayed fixed, but I'm getting a lot of spam, some of it to addresses that are in my blacklist.
