I'm a mail-only Free-online user, who receives mail to my iPhone using POP3.
Firstly, I received no prior notification of the migration to Greenby - I just noticed on Saturday that I'd received no emails to my phone since Thursday (6 Nov). I logged in to Plus.net and found out about the migration (subsequent searches of my inbox looking for Plusnet, Greenby and Migration came up with nothing).
However, that gripe aside, now that I'm aware you'd think I just have to follow the instructions and I'll be okay. Nope.
I can log in to Greenby and can see Webmail and am receiving new messages via webmail, and can see in webmail that I have Greenby's "welcome, your migration is complete" email.
However I just can't get anything to come down to my phone.
Support tickets and knowledge base searches on Greenby have variously said I should use imap.free-online.net, then that I should use pop.free-online.net. SSL off and port 110.
If I use pop.free-online.net it says the server is not responding.
If I use imap.free-online.net it looks okay and I get the little blue ticks on the right hand side in settings. But still no new emails come down to my phone (and I can see via webmail that there have been new emails).
Each time I change something, I dutifully restart my iPhone like they tell me to. Nothing.
My daughter (because she has one of the email addresses in my domain) has changed nothing on her phone yet, because it says you shouldn't have to change anything - so hers is still set to mail.free-online.net as before. I figured I'll leave hers as "control" and do all the messing about on mine. She is also receiving nothing.
Each time I raise a support ticket I get to "I'll transfer you to an agent who will be with you shortly" and that's the end of any communication on the ticket. One has been transferring me to an agent since Friday afternoon!
Please if there are any super users out there who can help me, please let me know what I can do!
(It doesn't help that this has all happened while I'm on holiday abroad. I'm sure this doesn't make a difference, but thought I'd mention it).

If I use pop.free-online.net it says the server is not responding.
pop.free-online.net is incorrect you should use mail.free-online.net
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

My daughter's settings are unchanged from before the migration (server mail.free-online.net, same password, port 110) but isn't receiving mail either.
I'm at a loss, and Greenby still hasn't transferred me to an agent.
