We have tried re-registering on a couple of accounts, but so far no new messages have appeared from any of these or others over the weekend. Whatever the fix was that was applied it does not seem to have made a difference.

Unfortunately we rarely use Webmail, but as we use IMAP for our email clients I would not expect to see any difference. We've just checked to confirm no difference. Messages are getting through from some organisations, but with noticeable omissions as mentioned above.

All fixed now
for some reason thunderbird had changed the security settings to SSL
once i'd changed this back to none it worked fine.

@maranello can you please PM me a picture of your settings please, I have a feeling it might be something similar

It appears some other users are experiencing problems as well, we've raised a problem internally and it's being investigated now. However if you send me a screenshot of your settings we can rule that out for you as well

You can probably put this down to a recent Thunderbird update. In my experience they are regularly troublesome.

We've had a small number of other users with similar issues, we're looking into it the problem and I'll let you know when I hear more. Sorry for the inconvenience.
