Hi, I haven't received any emails on my iphone 8 plus for five days. I can send emails from my phone. I can send and receive emails from my laptop. No setting altered. Any suggestions please?

@BrianD1 This issue is being discussed over numerous topics on this board. The impression I am getting is that older kit, such as your phone are not getting the latest trust certificates. This is something that only Apple, in your case, can resolve.

Security certificates have been reprofiled, not using the current G5 security certificate root signing standard.  Can folks please retry.

Replying to the 'tag' on the above post: What device are you using, @Myhom . I was, possibly wrongly, assuming that your device was an iPhone/iPad.

BTW, I am well aware that not all Apple devices us the same version of the OS.

There comes a time with evolving security models, where there are no options.  I cannot get my iPad mini-2 to do much these days - certainly not work with Microsoft outlook email.

I too have an iPhone 8 plus which is not receiving emails. I have just rebooted the phone and refreshed emails but still have the problem though interestingly the message has changed from "the identity of "imap.plus.net" cannot be verified" to "the identity of eas.outlook.com" cannot be verified.

That is usually associated with being connected to a wifi hotspot.

Thank you Townman, i had indeed rebooted in a wifi hotspot location. Having rebooted at home i am pleased to report that emails are being received again.

@Townman  I suspect the fact that @onemore attempted to update a certificate in msg#78 and it failed may have some bearing on this.
