Gandalf,

 

I checked my phone and it is set to IMAP. The only reason it did not delete the emails also was it was not connected to the internet at the time. Should I set it to POP3?

Hi Mike,

In that case it's a bit of a mystery how your emails were deleted. Personally I'd recommend leaving it as IMAP. This will mean your devices will sync together with webmail, what you'd do on one device will affect another including webmail.
