I've had my Madasafish email since 1994 I think...
I have a BT Broadband Connection.
Over the last few years, the Madasafish email has become more and more unreliable, but the prospect of changing my email after 30 years is unpalatable.
I pick up my email via a MacMail client, but every now and again it just stops receiving the emails. Normally, at this point, I log on using the Webmail link on the Madasafish Home Page and the reason seems to be that the email box has reached its 250MB (?) limit and just won't accept any more email. I then have to go through the laborious process of deleting the emails (200 at a time - normally the Inbox will accept about 5000 emails) in order to get things moving again. The Webmail front end doesn't have much functionality to allow me to block 95% of the email I get which is junk.
I realise PlusNet don't consider Madasafish Customers a priority but it's becoming a real chore.
On this particular occasion, on attempting to login via the Webmail link on the Madasafish Home Page, it gave me a message saying the Server was unreachable. Apparently that no longer works? So I contacted Tech Support and they told me there was another way of reaching my email via a PlusNet portal: webmail.plus.net
This worked, so this will be my "go to" now if my email jams up.
I wonder if you have any suggestions about improving my email experience above?
