Why am I getting my e mails 2-4 days late?
I have missed opportunities because of this, it is causing problems with myself and the senders and I am NOT happy with this service.
Time to be looking around at changing my ISP I think!

Can you open a ticket via the help assistant and include the full headers from a delayed email? This will help pinpoint where the delay is occurring.

.....errr so why not change to one of the free email service like Gmail.com, Outlook.com, Gmx.com and the rest.
ISP's are seeking to ditch email just like they have ditched webspace. That's pretty well obvious and none of the newer FTTP isp's like Hyperoptic offer any email service.
Or if you are a business wanting serious grade guaranteed on plus umpteen backups plus other facilities then you go and pay for a business grade email package from one of the specialist in this field
Retail email from ISP's has always been regarded as a free add on to the internet connectivity they offer anyway.
If you move your email you will then be totally independent of your ISP for email and not tied to them in anyway.
Changing ISP's because your email is having problems all seems.... well...... just a bit over the top.

Changing to gmail may not solve the problem - it all depends where it's being held up. Checking the headers yourself is pretty easy. I find the cause is more usually at the sending end rather than the receiving end. I haven't any problems re Plusnet's receiving of emails
