E-mail problems again (2011-04-26)

Is anybody else having problems with passwords being rejected on POP3 and IMAP? It seems worse on POP3 at the moment.

problems for me too. cant get onto emails through web, phone or computer

E mail not working ???

My E mail is not working and also requires me to log in with a password
There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'mail.plus.net', Server: 'mail.plus.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Login failed.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

Any help apreciated

Not just POP or IMAP -- can't login to the evil squirrelmail either
ERROR 
Unknown user or password incorrect.

Best to wait a while and try again.  These faults are usually temporary unless you start entering passwords and end up with the wrong one.

incorrect username /password both on iphone, webmail, and outlook. Went down about half hour ago. Rung plusnet who are aware and said they're working on it  Undecided

Thanks.  I am experiencing the same problem as 'stathe' so it is reassuring to know it is a known temporary problem.

Should be fixed all, by the time we'd got the details and prepared a service status it had already been fixed.
