Excalibur Computer Fairs seems like a reputable organisation that's been going in the Midlands for many years (see, eg, http://www.qype.co.uk/place/630689-Excalibur-Computer-Fair-Solihull ). This doesn't mean they won't hassle you if you try to unsubscribe and thus show them your email address is current. It's a bad sign that they seem to be sending bulk mailings through a4mail.net, which has a dubious reputation. If you can't imagine how they got your email address in the first place, it might be better to blacklist?

B&Q is part of the Kingfisher Group, which includes Screwfix amongst others. Any chance they are passing your address on from another brand within the group?

Although I have a Screwfix card I doubt very much if I would have given them my email address as I got it at the counter

I suppose it's possible that they are also using a4mail.net, and that the bulk mailing service is cross-addressing? But you can't blacklist a4mail.net because they don't use their address as 'Envelope-from' (and because you might lose things you actually want). Just a big nuisance, I'm afraid.
