POP3 server randomly refusing correct login credentials

Email asking me for password, but not working even when I put it in. Can't reach the Service Status page, and can't even reach the main Plusnet page. Starts to come up, then it tells me "somethings stopped working"!

I have been getting the following POP error for a few hours now:-

I don't know who enmail are? Is it a clue?

Webmail is down as well, gives the error "Connection to IMAP server failed".

At least the DNS server seems to be ok.

don't bother trying to DM Plusnet on X as they get round to answering you after 2 weeks which is a trifle too long a response time to make it worth using that method of contact

Same for me. FTTP working fine but no email and access to PN member centre not possible. @bobpullen any update on what's going on?

Some kind of explanation from the business is surely warranted here?

Mail seems to be on and off. I was getting error messages to start with, though I did already have a few waiting from the early hours, then a lone email got through at 10.25 a.m. so I thought it was back, but no, only password error messages again since that.

I often find myself wondering what the Service Information section of the forum is for - us customers are always left speculating what might be happening to our paid-for service.

Yep, @mwwagain - MailWaher has stopped complaining - for now.

 I'm out for about three hours soon - wonder what I'll come home to?

Point of note - still not fixed, properly - error messages in MW on at least one of my mail boxes.

Definitely not sorted, all four accounts failed again!

AND still not a peep from the business. I know they are merely a 'brand' of GPO Telephones - sorry - BT Consumer Division, but this is silly.
