Is outgoing email filtered?

Is outgoing email filtered? Several emails that I have sent recently have not arrived, but I don't get any 'bounce' messages or other feedback. This seems to happen when emails include links or attachments. For example when I share a Dropbox link in an email (rather than directly from my Dropbox account - that seems to work).

Hi, we don't.
It sounds like you might have some form of security software which might be stopping those from going through.

Thanks for the response Adam. No it's not that - I use Kaspersky, but I turned that off and the email still doesn't get through.
I've run a couple more test and it looks like the receiver is silently blocking - the email does get through to some recipients.
I don't mind that so much, but it would be nice if whatever is blocking my email gave some sort of indication. But I guess that would help the Bad Guys ...
