I am at a PC where I have an app for _only_ checking email arrivals, it also can show me the content if I want. Useful for any email I don't want. I don't use my mail app on this PC to download.
I ran it 10mins ago and 2 emails from PN - " Important information about uour PlusNet service"
I clicked to have a look at the content and...nothing. The header part stayed but no content.
So, have other people received such an email recently?
Is this to do with some posts about webmail?
I don't use the webmail, just an ordinary pop3 client.
I'm not making changes or doing huge downloads so those as reasons are ruled out.

It is possible that the content is an image - they seem quite fond of doing that

It's possible the "Important information" might be about moving you to 21CN if your exchange has recently been enabled for that service. Are you currently on the 20CN "up to 8Mbps 6Mbps" service?

if you go to here https://portal.plus.net/wizard/?p=search, there is a copy of all PN e-mails sent to you, you can check the last 7 days (or more if you wish)

Quote from: Oldjim It is possible that the content is an image - they seem quite fond of doing that
perhaps they should think again about that procedure.
the checker app showed it as 11k in size, which seems a bit small for any image, though it also says 'multipart/mixed"
I arranged for a plain email sent to me. Checking its content worked normally

I suggest this topic belongs in feedback as it's not about PN's mail system or any mail issues at the users end.
It's PN's inability to send email communications to it's customers in a format that can be read by all - i.e. with a plain text alternative for those using mail clients that don't display html or images.
If nothing else it should have a plain text link "If you can't read this image go to http://... " which goes to a web page showing the email.

To jelv,
yes, I have made an entry in Feedback. I had seen posts about the webmail changes and, as my first post here indicated, the question was if this was connected with that.

My comment wasn't to you, it was to the moderators. I suggested to them that the two topics should be merged and moved to feedback.
