Inbox not synching - Outlook 365

Just set up my PN account on my desktop with identical setting to my laptop. Laptop works fine.

Both have same IMAP folder list with same subscriptions.

For some reason desktop has a sync errors folder (the laptop doesn't) which indicates sync is failing for inbox with error [800CCC0E-0-0-560]

Desktop syncs sent and trash items fine

I have followed the instructions in the following to no avail.

https://community.plus.net/t5/Email/Inbox-now-empty/td-p/1726318

The laptop does NOT have root folder set as anything - it is blank.

If I set desktop root folder to 'inbox' it still won't sync the inbox but I do lose the sync errors folder!

I think my inbox is quite big and am just wondering if it is PN's pants IMAP and its struggling to sync a big folder from scratch whereas the laptop only syncs a few recent mails.

Any suggestions?

TIA

PT

Hi PT,

Does this help IMAP errors with Outlook 2016 | Outlook Forums by Slipstick.com ?

Thanks @Townman
Since posting this I have reinstalled outlook and with the same settings it now works. I don't know if that fixed it or PN server started to cope. Anyhow. Sorted now thanks.
