Inbound SMTP IP range for SPF

I am hosting my domain with someone else as they are cheaper 😞
I am forwarding my mails into Plusnet but as Sender Policy Framework is increasingly enforerced, what is the Public IP range the SMTP servers are residing (relay.plus.net and smtp.plus.net)....
212.159.9.0/24 correct?

Re: Inbound SMTP IP range for SPF

I think that lacks an alternative range. However a better approach is to use the 'include' posted in reply #2 here (and repeated elsewhere). Then if the ranges change the new information should be made available automatically. Smiley
Later posts in that topic explain why this works for Plusnet.

Re: Inbound SMTP IP range for SPF

Question for Bob
Will this include continue to be maintained now that Madasafish is no more AND Plusnet do not support SPF in their domain?

Re: Inbound SMTP IP range for SPF

I thought it was only the MAAF broadband that went and mail was still there?

Re: Inbound SMTP IP range for SPF

Thanks all for your replies.
@ Bob Pullen a couple of things:
1. I have always been impressed with Plusnet support but on this occasion they faltered. I raised a ticket and the resonse was ver poor indeed.
2. If I use include Madasafish does still works I will include that.
3. Can you add a page somewhere for advanced users with this up to date info
4. please clarify whether plus.net is going to have SPF at some point....
For all other visiters to this Forum Page, as Spam filters are becoming more SPF aware it starts to break basic forwarding functionality (Yes I work in the industry but sadly not for Plusnet) we need this information somewhere....
On a footnote, Within the industry, many have already complained that SPF is not working and we need something else.... Smiley
