Impap server time out

Been haveing difficultys loging in over the last few days keep getting this message  Error connecting to IMAP server: imap.force9.net.
110 : Connection timed out
Any ideas not changed any of the settings this end

Is that using webmail or a client on your own computer?
I've used force9 webmail occasionally in the last few days, but experienced no problems. However others posting on the email board have reported webmail problems.
I mainly use Thunderbird, no problems accessing force9 IMAP server with that.

Just logging using the internet explorer rout going to the PlusNet home page and using the webmail tab
