My laptop has just died and so in the interim using Nokia N900 phone and tho can collect e.mails, cant seem to send e.mails with Plusnets details, any suggestions ?
You will need to use Authenticated SMTP to send from a non PlusNet connection, follow one of the links from here http://www.plus.net/support/email/setup/index.shtml although you will need to adjust for however the N900 is setup.

I have the same problem on my new Samsung Galaxy S2. 3G no problem. Sending from home using my wi-fi no problem but when I try to use the wi-fi at the club it won't work although I can use the internet OK. I was wondering if it was something to do with port settings. PN have confirmed incoming on port 110 and outgoing on port 25. This doesn't work. When I use my laptop at the club I don't have a problem.
