IMAP server down?

Just sent an email and SeaMonkey is now stuck trying to move the sent message to the corresponding IMAP folder. Pinging imap.plus.net from a couple of computers returns nothing, but relay.plus.net is fine. When I ping imap.plus.net it's looking for 217.46.26.43,

Anyone else getting this?

After about 20 minutes the sent message finally got moved, but the imap.plus.net ping is still timing out on both computers..

Possibly related to another problem I an having with retrieving mails (via Outlook) give me this error:

Task 'xxxxxxxxx@yyyyyyy.plus.com - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).  The server responded: -ERR Cannot connect to POP server 217.46.26.48 (217.46.26.48:110), connect error 10060'

This problem has been (and still is) happening for the last hour or so 😞

Hi Dabbler,

I am experiencing email errors both on my laptop and mobile phone. Unable to receive emails. 

Looks like an IMAP error.

Email has been intermittently slow for a few days, but it really seems to have gone down the tubes this afternoon

Must be a problem with the servers not just imap also unable to see any service status as that serer also times out.

Yes, thanks....mail client is able to read all IMAP folders again. Ping still times-out, but maybe that's being blocked.

I believe not responding to ping or tracert is normal with the imap and pop severs.
