Hi everyone, New to Plusnet, when I open my Microsft Outlook to send email I keep getting a notice that says IMAP server has closed the connection. I was with BT and my phone will be transferred on 1st April. All my email addresses are "btinternet.com" and I'm not sure if I will lose these once my whole BT account is closed. Anyone got any advice. please. Regards Mick.
Hi Mick, I'm not sure if BT will close your e-mail accounts or not, however if you ask, there might be a way they can keep them open for you? Just as a test, are you able to access your BT e-mails via their webmail at all?
Hi Chris, Thanks for reply. I can still access my BT email account and also through my Outlook, but it's when I access through outlook that this message appears, even though I can still send & receive emails through it.
