IMAP Server Hanging?

Noticed for a bit now a lot of times when my mail client polls imap.plus.net the response is quite delayed or just hangs. Particularly bad evenings & weekends. Starting to get a bit annoying. Just wondered if there were any problems? If I check my Gmail account when it's happening that seems to work fine.

I give up with this. It just won't synch most peak times. Guess it's time to move my mail over to Gmail or Hotmail.

Think this might be a more general network problem at the moment.

Couldn't edit my post above as I just get booted to the bottom of the screen when I try to press into the message.
